About:

RDL2K, an independent designer driven by a deep exploration of the raw, primal connection between nature and human instinct. My work delves into neo-tribal motifs and the complex emotions they evoke, creating a unique design language.

Vision:

RDL2K is about pushing the boundaries of design, where art becomes a statement and objects transform into symbols of both danger and protection. My designs take inspiration from how we, as humans, respond to threats—like the instinctive fear we feel when faced with a spiked fence, contrasted with the sense of safety when we're within its confines.

I create products that blur the line between everyday objects and weapons. They don’t just look dangerous; they are. These designs challenge our perceptions, disregarding the comfort and safety that our bodies typically seek. Each piece embodies the tension between threat and security, forcing us to confront the duality of our instincts and the environments we create.

With RDL2K, my goal is to bring something truly provocative and thought-provoking to the world of design—pieces that not only challenge our senses but also invite us to reconsider the way we interact with the objects around us.
